Explore how Cure visually captured the essence of Glacier Road, creating an engaging and visually dynamic website that maps the journey from fjord to glacier.
Glacier Road

To make the road an appealing destination, we aimed to highlight all the unique areas and experiences along this route. Therefore, we developed the concept “Fjord to Glacier”. Each icon illustrates an area along the road, and collectively, they represent Glacier Road. To appeal to the target audience, we made the identity bold, tight, and dynamic. The colors in the identity are drawn from the fjord, the glacier, and the road itself. The font is bold and inspired by road signs. The Glacier Road website is designed to be an interactive journey. On the landing page, one can scroll through all parts of Glacier Road. The subpages provide detailed information about the various places and the experiences available in the vicinity.

Glacier Road is a route in Hardanger that connects the fjord and glacier. The road climbs 1200 meters and stretches 19 km long. The Jondal municipality wanted to transform the road into a new and attractive destination in the region. The target audience for Glacier Road is the active and travel-hungry tourist, who desires to experience varied and spectacular nature.
